Take a breath, explore the new, and discover what's needed
How do we strengthen our own courage, shape our personal leadership style, and influence what’s needed during these uncertain times?
Perhaps in this time of uncertainty, it is helpful to be reminded that we live in a world that is full of adventure, opportunity, and courage. That we have the capability to shape our future and develop our inner courage to navigate through often relentless circumstances. Coming together in a space that nurtures good conversations is the start of refreshing our spirit of renewal and exploration. Through dialogue we can illuminate the opportunities that the world of the future is one we can shape and lead in different ways.
Questions that may be raised:
What is the nature of conflict in my organisation and how do I respond?
What makes for a courageous leader?
What is the role of vulnerability in demonstrating bravery?
How do I decide when to say NO and walk away or sustain – what supports or hinders me?
How do we develop courageous practice at a time when many leaders are experiencing lack of confidence or imposter syndrome?
To what extent is courageous leadership a systemic characteristic or an individual decision – and how can it be engendered?
The Dialogue
What can you possibly learn at a Dialogue that you cannot search for online? When it comes to information, the answer is clearly, nothing.
However, when it’s about meaningful, positive change, a space to refresh in the company of others, connecting with people in person, being in a Dialogue with all the multifaceted perspectives and experiences, participants say it ‘makes all the difference’.
The power of the two-day dialogue is through the energy and commitment that each person brings to developing key questions that are given attention over the time together. The approach provides for a safe but challenging environment while maintaining flexibility, emergence and upholding individual responsibility.
We know the Leadership Dialogue is a valued experience for everyone involved because each person who participates is invested in getting together with other leaders who care about what they do, how they do it, and who each bring a commitment to working with great questions.
Confirmed participants include leaders from business, housing, youth and community, local government, defence and global enterprise from the UK and beyond. Places are strictly limited to 29. In selecting, we will create a diverse cohort of leaders from across public, private and third sectors - leaders who are committed to dialogue, open to change and willing to bring their whole self to the process.
